Linda M. Conti Prominently Featured in Newly Released Book “Women & Wealth: Inspiring Stories from Real Women on the Path to Financial Success”
NOYES, a 108-year old wealth management and investment banking firm, announced today that its CEO and President, Mark Damer, and wealth advisors Linda M. Conti, Carla Voss Genelly and Denise Halford Holder were quoted in the recently released book “Women and Wealth: Inspiring Stories from Real Women on the Path to Financial Success.”
Published by Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) and authored by IRI President and CEO Cathy Weatherford, the book focuses on showing women that goals and financial freedom can still be attained regardless of all the challenges and headwinds they face. Each chapter provides short takeaways, creative strategies, and resources to help women build or refine their financial plans. In addition, the book enables financial professionals to better understand the unique challenges and needs of the underserved women’s market.
“We are honored and grateful to Ms. Weatherford for featuring the insights and ideas of NOYES female advisors in her timely and engaging book,” stated Mark W. Damer. “Historically, women have often been involved in important financial decisions but today their role has intensified significantly. The increasingly more active role that women are playing in shaping their own financial success is already engendering many necessary changes in the financial advice profession.”
“At NOYES we are proud to be able to consistently attract and support astute and knowledgeable female financial advisors. Denise, Linda and Carla not only provide strong female role models, but play an instrumental role in the ongoing financial success of our female clients,” Damer concluded.
“Cathy helps women identify many unique financial situations they may confront in their lifetimes. It’s a powerful experience to see women advising and empowering other women, not just in their immediate situation, but in helping to create lifelong legacies for their entire family,” affirmed Linda M. Conti, Wealth Advisor. “Quite simply, her book serves as an excellent resource for women to help understand and embolden their efforts to achieve financial success.”
Carla Voss Genelly, CIMA®, CPWA® First Vice President, Wealth Advisor said, “Cathy’s book peals away the façade that women can’t be masters of their own financial destiny. She sounds a clarion call for all women to seize the reins of stewardship for themselves, their families and champion the causes they care about in an ever increasingly complicated world of risk, return and product choice.”
“Unlike earlier books on the subject, Cathy’s neither ignores nor skips over the increasingly important role of women advising other women in implementing key financial choices. Women and Wealth is a must read for every woman, whether single, widowed, or married, faced with the prospect of enlisting professional financial and investment advice,” she added.
According to Denise Halford Holder, MBA, CFP®, First Vice President, Wealth Management, “In today’s fast changing and challenging financial environment, women want to feel in control of their own destiny. I provide my clients with that comfort. Women want and need, a holistic plan, which incorporates their investments, their insurance needs, taxes, debts, trusts and a will.”
“In Women and Wealth, Cathy clearly underscores that, ultimately, a woman prefers a consultative approach and a plan that will align perfectly with her own aspirations and allow her the freedom and flexibility to focus on her passions,” she added.
